DSLR Filmmaking Workshop

I think cinema, movies, and magic have always been closely associated. The very earliest people who made film were magicians –Francis Ford Coppola
DATES :        23 May(friday) -25 May (sunday) 2014
VENUE:         BANGALORE
Without a doubt movies are MAGIC. There is no other medium that transports us to different times, different places and even different planets and make us believe that we are witnessing something for real. There is no other medium that lets us laugh and cry with the characters, makes us love the heroes and hate the villains, even though we know that these are just actors playing their parts. Cinema without a doubt is Magic.

It takes years to master the art of making films. But every great venture should have a small beginning and this workshop is just that. It is 3 days of high intensity training that will give you an overview of the various aspects of filmmaking. You will learn from experienced filmmakers, use world class equipment and be hands on in the various intricate aspects of filmmaking.

Filmmaking at you're finger tips:
Dslr's have revolutionised the process of filmmaking. The incredible cinematic quality they deliver , at a fraction of the cost of high end equipment means that everyone can make films that look great. The limit is just you're imagination.
Dslr's however are still cameras that shoot great video. To work with them needs a lot of skill. This workshop gets into the details and will make you a master in handling them.

Aaron Nace - Retouching and Compositing Work shop

Aaron Nace - Retouching and Compositing 5-31 9am - 6pm

Description:
Class Length: One Full Day (8 Hours)
Students Admitted: 25 Students
Cost: $300 Per Person
Class Description: This amazing class will include high end retouching as well as compositing images together. We will be retouching images taken in the Bahamas during this seminar.  You will learn retouching and light compositing starting from scratch and working all the way to the final image.  If you're familiar with Aaron's teaching style, you know how much information he can pack into a 10 minute mini tutorial.  Aaron-Nace-Mcdo-PandaNow expand that over 8 hours!  Learn his workflow, shortcuts and favorite techniques.  Use tools in ways they weren't designed to be used!  And most importantly, learn his thoughts behind the decision making process.  Strong technical skills are only half the equation for creating strong images.  Learning WHY one technique is used over another, WHY colors work well together, WHY an idea didn't work.  This isn't "instruction manual" style teaching, it's the entire creative decision making process.

You must be a member to sign up for this event.
